Pompom Trim

Today's "Design of the Day" is one I design to cheer me up.  This is the last day of the Occasions Catalog and I have to say I will really miss these beautiful products.  The Just Because Card is a tribute to past, current and future stamping possibilities.  A past Sale-a-bration's stamp set "Sweet Summer" was used on the top, along the middle I used the fluffy cheerful PomPom Trim out of the Occasion's Mini Catalog and at the bottom I used the Silhouette Sentiments hostess stamp set that can easily be earned by hosting a Stampin' Up Card Workshop.  Be creative with all your stamp sets!

Stampin' with Build a Bloom

I can't help myself, today I started playing with the Stampin' Up Build a Bloom Stamp Set and could not stop myself.  Today's "Design of the Day" includes 4 cards, Yippee!!!  This stamp set allows you to be so creative.  The last day to buy this and the punch that go together is tomorrow, Saturday, April 30th.

Stampin with Sympathy

It is a sad day when we need a sympathy card but what a great way to let someone know you care by taking the time to make it yourself.  Today's Design of the Day has been created with just that thought in mind.

This card has been created using on of the a' la carte stamps in the front of the Idea Book.  The rose adornment makes the card have that extra special touch.   

When stamping this image on the card I used my Stampin' Up! markers instead of the stamp pad so that I could get multiple colors on the swirls and flowers.

Stampin' with Beveled Windows

Sorry, I have been gone for so many days.  I must share that I was finishing my last class to earn my Bachelors Degree and I am done!!!!  It is never to late to reach for those life goals and I finally got there!!!!  Thanks for waiting for me to start my post again.

Now we can get back to card making ;)  For the next week I will focus on the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Spring is in Bloom products.  Today's Design of the Day is created with the Beveled Windowpanes. Using these windowpanes is a great way to focus on a paper you love or that special stamp.  Each beveled window has a slot on each side to thread ribbon or paper through and can be used to attached the window to the card, scrap page or even a glass jar or candle.

Today I am highlighting one of the new designer papers that is available this month as a preview to the new 2011-2012 Idea Book coming out this July.  After seeing the new paper and stamp set I can't wait to see the new catalogs!  You can add an order of either the paper or the stamp set or both this month to a $20 purchase.
