Stampin' Up! Bugs and Kisses Dragonfly

Bugs & Kisses has so many options.  This card will work for kids are adults. 

In this "Design of the Day" I used a new technique of mixing embossing powders to create different colors and adding a special sparkle to the card.  In addition I added Dazzling Diamonds to the Dragonfly wings.  This gives the dragon fly the sparkle and multi color look they have in real life.

Sadly, this is another retiring stamp set.  Remember if you are interested in any of the retiring set they can only be order through June 30th!

Bonjour,

"Today's Design of the Day" is a very elegant card!  The color combination of pink and black gives a very sophisticated look and what better architectural landmark to give the card that dreamy beautiful feeling than the Eiffel Tower.  The addition of Dazzling Diamonds to the crown gives the card just the right amount of sparkle needed. 

Experiment with your stamp sets as I did in this card by using them to create your own patterned paper.  The use of all these different stamps within the same set brings the entire card together perfectly.

Stampin' Friends Never Fade

Today's "Design of the Day" reminds me of the warm weather and colors of the coming season.  The Daffodil Delight and a beautiful burst of sunshine yellow.  The sentiment that Friends are flowers that never fade and so true and so beautiful.  What a great card to send to someone special just to let them know you are thinking about of their friendship. 

One more point I really love about this card is the that this Friends Never Fade Stamp Set and the Greenhouse Gala Paper go so well together, complimenting the design of each other, just like a wonderful friend.
