Stampin' Up! Catalog Tips

The Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog
is loaded with great Design Ideas
but did you know there was more?

Tip #1

When looking at a specific design you may question what products or colors are being used.  There is a file that allows you to read exactly what products are used for each design and it is displayed in a very similar style to the way I list products used in my Designs of the Day!

Example:
On Page 16 of the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog you will find the "Turtle & Co." Stamp Set and Design Ideas.  If you then go to the Stampin' Supplies file you find the list of products used in each project.  Below is a list of the items used in the first card on the left side of the photo.

16a – On Your Feet card:
Turtle & Co. Set; Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Peach Parfait, Whisper White, and Wild Wasabi Textured Card Stock; Party Animal Simply Scrappin’; Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi Classic Stampin’ Pads; Daffodil Delight 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon; Brights Brads; Brights Designer Buttons; Pearl Basic Jewels; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Aqua Painter;
Boho Blossoms, Dotted Scallop Ribbon, and 1/2" Circle Punches;
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack; hole punch

NOTE:  Did you know that the Turtle & Co. Stamp Set is this years exclusive design for Stampin' Up!'s Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
For each stamp set purchased, $3 is donated to RMHC.

What a great way to have fun and help a very worthy organization!

Tip #2

Stampin' Up! papers are so easy to work with and
there are great deals on prices available in catalog.

The getting Started Collection 8-1/2" x 11" Card Stock Package not only gives you a great selection with 12 different colors but it also gives you an
additional 4 sheets of card stock for no additional cost.  See Page 174

Tip #3

Page 176 holds "In Color" packages.  If you order the Card Stock and Classic Pad In Color Kit you receive 20 sheets of card stock and 5 Ink Pads for ONLY the Price of the Ink Pads.

That is like getting the 20 sheets of Card Stock FREE!

Tip #4

Pages 206 and 208 hold charts that give you excellent recommendations on which Adhesives and Cutting Tools work best with each of the products.  This is a GREAT reference when creating your project!

I hope these Tips help you when working with and ordering Stampin' Up! Products.
